Romeo's a dreamer. She believes in humanity. But she thinks society is bullshit. Romeo would like to believe that the best government is no government or that people must have one, a state that benefits everyone equally is stronger than any sort of official rule. Romeo believes there's an unspoken social contract that people can buy into, but doesn't care for formalizing this into any sort of laws, religion, or moral guidelines. For Romeo, no man is an island, and every man should contribute to said island. Romeo doesn't believe that placing the power in the hands of individuals over the people is smart.
Romeo is a moody woman, as likely to snap as she is to coddle. She's surprisingly warm and interactive for one of the researchers. She has a deep anti-establishment streak in her, in her youth it manifested as rebellion, now she sometimes encourages it in her subjects--just not against her. Maybe Mike or Hotel? To a point, Romeo's not a fan of figureheads or leaders, even in revolutionary movements, she'll probably find it kind of weird that she's basically the leader of her block. Of course, she's different.
As a person, she's a strong individual, though inconsistent. She understands self-preservation, but doesn't go for ego. She sees art as an extension of this (though sometimes forgets to include books in this). Romeo values collaboration, individualism,
Romeo Block is egalitarian. Everyone's rooms are the same, and people can choose where they stay--and switch if they like. She doesn't care if people from other blocks stay over. She may step in if heirarchies start forming, but she might also just watch for a while. In new worlds, she gives everyone the same resource unless the experiment requires otherwise.
Romeo is one of the more engaging scientists. open to changing her block with a suitable majority though will no always acquiesce.
Romeo is a carreer soldier and rebel who came to prominence defending against IASA colonization. Despite now working on a project under their direction, Rousseau's goal is to show that planets are capable of governing themselves with minimal aid from IASA. She additionally brings a soldier's attention to detail and oversees security for the Compound.
